Technical running shorts come in all different lengths and styles, but all are made of good wicking material to keep you as moisture-free as possible. You’ll probably pay around $15 to $30 or more for a decent pair of shorts. Most have a hidden pocket where you can stash your keys, some money or an energy gel packet. Marathoners often like the version that features a series of mesh pockets in the back, designed to hold energy gel packets.
